American Idol 2008
The season 7 of the hit reality series "American Idol" finally announced the winner for the year. The results were released May 21 (but of course we wouldn't know who won yet by that date) announcing that David Cook defeated Star Search Winner David Archuleta by 12% or by 12 million votes. The votes reached a record-breaking high with approximately 97 million votes all in all.
David Cook is a 25-year-old bartender who lives in Blue Springs, Missouri. His auditioning for the show was completely unplanned. He went with his brother to accompany him to this auditions and the producers talked to him about "trying it out". And so, this just might be David's destiny!
Well, as long as he keeps his feet on the ground and keep on trusting God, then this will be the time of his life. :)
